IF YOU WANT TO BE A BIN SPOTTER THEN YOU NEED A KEEN EYE. They crop up in the most unlikely places. If you take a peek on board the Sheila Ann on the Panama Canal you'll see they've got a selection of recycling bins... see them... zoom in. Job done.

Cheers Rob/Binjamin.

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE SPARE A THOUGHT FOR THE BINS?

Normal service has been disrupted by some minor disturbances in London this week, sorry about that. For now, please stand in solidarity for some of our fallen bin brethren.

ps. someone has written a nicely informative news story all about bins in a much more serious manner here. Good job Maxine Perella of edieWASTE - we salute you

"BASURA BASURA! Ooh binman when you talk like that, you make me wanna bin bag, Sulo, no Biffa - BASURA BASURA!"

(Sing this to the tune of that Shakira song, your colleagues'll love it.)

TERRIBLY SAD THIS. Spotted on the street round the back of the Dominion Theatre in the heart of London. This handsome green bin's seen better days. Let's hope he's back in action soon.

This week is Geordie Bin Week. Just wait til the national press catch on, it'll be mental.

For now, enjoy these from Rebecca G-H. She had the following to say about them:

"Think I got a bit excited about any bins, so won't be offended if you don't use them. The beach bin was my favourite.I liked the red metal, with the red life ring."
We concur. Nice ring action.

TOKYO. Had a bit of a rough time of late ain't it? Glad to see their bins are being kept in an orderly fashion though. Lovely stuff. And the first time BATW has featured a multicoloured selection to boot.
