WE'RE LATE.... BUT THAT'S OK. We've bin to Italy and everything's late there - it's a wonder they ever get out of bed.

While we were there we saw all manner of shernanigans involving flares, paint and policemen. Spotted this nice triptych of burning bins though. Out of disaster comes beauty.... perhaps.

This composition was spotted by Mr. J. Foreman in Newcastle, the city that has more fun the colder it gets... or so it would seem.

It is certainly the best dressed bin we've seen in some time.

CIAO BELLA

Nice composition here. This cheeky Milanese number has managed to sandwich itself between an ornate lamppost and rossi scooter. If Berlusconi was leafing through some blue magazines at the stall in the background this would be one of the greatest shots in Italian bin history. Cheers to the bella scouse Vez N for this one.

SAUCY close up of a Worcester bin here. If only you could touch that crest, it was practically embossed. Sign of a posh neighbourhood if ever I saw one. Round our way people just paint their number on 'em willy nilly.

LATE AGAIN, sorry. We're getting worse than when the milkman we used to have changed. Instead of dropping off his wares at a reasonable hour (ie 6am) he'd come at 10.30am so on hot days the milk would be off by the time you got home. FFS.

Anyway, not our work this... but nice all the same.

Snapped from a train window in Japan where bins are a rarity in public places (and known as ビン). But there's some handsome looking silver recycling-y numbers next to that hulking Yakult machine. Nice.

Bin Brothers: These two were snapped in Bethnal Green, east London. Clearly the silver fella's a local favourite but the orange one has been lumbered with what appears to be a pane of heavyweight glass... jus' sayin'.

Midweek treat for all you sign fans out there. Thorley Taverns have a point, if you're smoking in the lav the least you could do is use the bins provided.

A squirrel eating a chip in the sunshine. Pretty good.

I saw a policeman (or 'cop' as they say in the US) taking these hot-dogs and placing them carefully on the edge of a bin in a retail park. I resisted the temptation to take any. It was very hot and I didn't fancy reformed pork at the time.

For some reason titles have decided to evade me (ie, the box to write them in has disappeared, not 'I cannot think of a title.') This one is called: 'Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours.'

Due to the Bank Holiday we are doing the rounds on Tuesday this week. Cheers yeah.
