SNOW: INFORMER: THERE'S LOTS OF IT ABOUT. Dogs love it, especially labradors, cos it reminds them of home.

IT'S CHRISSSSSSSSSTMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS! (As Noddy Holder says)

Being so cold out we decided to hark back to warmer times. Here's a double landscape treat from France. Don't let the (pou)bell(es) end...

PS. Sorry for being 24 hours late. It was icy yesterday so we couldn't get round.

Monday 20 December 2010

AN APPROPRIATELY WINTERY SCENE FROM MR. BEN WYKES HERE. This semi snow-clad one was spotted in London, where the world operates from.... until it snows. London is now closed until further notice. Thanks.

Thursday 16 December 2010

WE'RE LATE.... BUT THAT'S OK. We've bin to Italy and everything's late there - it's a wonder they ever get out of bed.

While we were there we saw all manner of shernanigans involving flares, paint and policemen. Spotted this nice triptych of burning bins though. Out of disaster comes beauty.... perhaps.

Cheers to J Foreman for spotting this one right here

Monday 13 December 2010

FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE. Where bins are called утра.... yeah, us neither.

Nice tannenbaum Moscow, keep up the good work.

Monday 6 December 2010

HAWAY THE LADS.

This composition was spotted by Mr. J. Foreman in Newcastle, the city that has more fun the colder it gets... or so it would seem.

It is certainly the best dressed bin we've seen in some time.

Thursday 2 December 2010

CIAO BELLA

Nice composition here. This cheeky Milanese number has managed to sandwich itself between an ornate lamppost and rossi scooter. If Berlusconi was leafing through some blue magazines at the stall in the background this would be one of the greatest shots in Italian bin history. Cheers to the bella scouse Vez N for this one.

Monday 29 November 2010

LONDON CALLING to the faraway towns
Now war is declared - and battle come down

But don't start on this bin. It's solid. And in a nicely complimentary green to the red wall where it resides. Nice work bin.

Thursday 25 November 2010

SAUCY close up of a Worcester bin here. If only you could touch that crest, it was practically embossed. Sign of a posh neighbourhood if ever I saw one. Round our way people just paint their number on 'em willy nilly.

Monday 22 November 2010

SWEDISH BEAUTIES.

A couple of the team have been over Scandinavia way. Some really fine specimens out that way. In fact, so many that we'll be giving you them in doses.

ULRIKA-KA-KA-KA-KAAAAAAGGGGHHHH

Thursday 18 November 2010

SAW TWO SHADOW(BIN)MEN ON THE VALLANCE ROAD....

Cheers to J. Ellerby for this Whitechapel based black beauty. Nature, architecture, chicken bones (probably)... what more could you want?

Monday 15 November 2010

LATE AGAIN, sorry. We're getting worse than when the milkman we used to have changed. Instead of dropping off his wares at a reasonable hour (ie 6am) he'd come at 10.30am so on hot days the milk would be off by the time you got home. FFS.

Anyway, not our work this... but nice all the same.

File under 'dodgy advertising placement'

Thanks to BM for this one.

BIN TO ITALIA AIN'T I?

A real gem of a set here from J. Foreman of Newcastle. The lad's been on tour to Italy and spotted a TRIPTYCH of BIDONE.

GRAZIE MILLE Foreman, you can come back any time you want signor.

PS. Sorry we're late on this morning's round, just got back from the King's Road, had to clean up JT's Dom Perignon recycling bins - they were all over the shop. Be safe out there.

Monday 8 November 2010

BEAM ME UP TONY....

This gem was spotted in Holborn, London WC2. Sorry that we're late again...

Thursday 4 November 2010

BRICK LANE, LONDON (JUST OFF SHATTERED DREAMS PARKWAY)

Nice one from Miss Guidici here. Sorry for the lack of a round on Monday, we were on strike. Seems to be the done thing these days. Just be happy you don't live in Naples yeah?

Thursday 28 October 2010

YORKSHIRE, YORKSHIRE.

You can almost smell the sweat of a miner this shot is so atmospheric. Back alley northern delight from Morts, cheers pal.

Monday 25 October 2010

TURNING JAPANESE, I REALLY HOPE SO.

Snapped from a train window in Japan where bins are a rarity in public places (and known as ビン). But there's some handsome looking silver recycling-y numbers next to that hulking Yakult machine. Nice.

Thursday 21 October 2010

Bin Brothers: These two were snapped in Bethnal Green, east London. Clearly the silver fella's a local favourite but the orange one has been lumbered with what appears to be a pane of heavyweight glass... jus' sayin'.

Wednesday 20 October 2010

Midweek treat for all you sign fans out there. Thorley Taverns have a point, if you're smoking in the lav the least you could do is use the bins provided.

Thursday 14 October 2010

Cheers to Morts for this cracker from Chi-town. The windy city needs instructions 'bout where to stick dat trash, evidently.

Monday 11 October 2010

TOLD YOU SO. Enjoy these snaps from the streets of Shanghai. THE BIN BOYS. X

Saturday 9 October 2010

We broke a promise and we intend to regain your confidence in our boys by bringing you two installments from China, where bins are known as 容器. Or at least that is what 'World Lingo' told us... and their site has some frightening pop-up ads so chances are it is wrong. Any Chinese readers do get in touch. Cheers China.

1 of 2. (no. 2 comin'atcha Monday at the now unusual time of 9am.)

Wednesday 6 October 2010

An afternoon treat, a real rare beauty this one... Thanks to James G for sending it our way, he was responsible for execution and delivery. Concept courtesy of Morts. The picture was taken at The Marlborough Social Club, Newcastle.

We're running 48hours behind but promise for a bin bonanza from the West Country tomorrow. In the meantime please enjoy this beauty outside St James Park, Exeter.

Thursday 30 September 2010

A bit of bin ethnography here. Spotted on a Sunday night outside London Bridge station.

Monday 27 September 2010

OUR BOYS, oops, are still feeling the summer vibe so here's a lovely solitary number. Calling for its mate across the volleyball court.

Thursday 23 September 2010

GREECE SPECIAL:

Excellent contributions here from our Italian correspondent in Greece, Miriam Giudici. Grazie Mille!

Monday 20 September 2010

One from the archive. A melted bin near King's Cross, London.

Monday 13 September 2010

I saw a policeman (or 'cop' as they say in the US) taking these hot-dogs and placing them carefully on the edge of a bin in a retail park. I resisted the temptation to take any. It was very hot and I didn't fancy reformed pork at the time.

Monday 6 September 2010

For some reason titles have decided to evade me (ie, the box to write them in has disappeared, not 'I cannot think of a title.') This one is called: 'Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours.'

Tuesday 31 August 2010

Due to the Bank Holiday we are doing the rounds on Tuesday this week. Cheers yeah.
