2/3RDS OF A MEXICAN WAVE HERE. Well, we say Mexican but we mean Catalonian as this delightful snap was taken by J Gilla on the beach in Barcelona. According to the brains over at Google, bin in Spanish is cubo de la basura. Sounds like a dish we ordered when we were in Magaluf back in 2001. We've heard that Catalonian is being added to Google Translate in 2012.

WE STILL CANNOT GET OVER HOW GOOD THIS SUBMISSION IS. It deserves an award for 'Best Picture of Bin in Front of Volcano'. In fact, we've just invented a new competition: Best Picture of Bin in Front of Volcano.
Luca had the following to say about his bin:
this is a solitary, proud bin emerging from the cold magma of Timanfaya national park in Lanzarote island. 157km2 of black vulcanic stone coming from a 6years eruption during the 16 century. the amazing, violent landscape is broken by this heritage of the human presence in his best shape.
Congratulations to Luca! He's a winner.

WE DON'T USUALLY ACCEPT BIN LINERS OUTSIDE OF RUBBISH BINS BUT FOR THIS ONE WE'RE WILLING TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION. Our lad Dustbin Hoffman got to go pitch side down at the Withdean in Brighton and he spotted this composition. Historical reference point and block colour arrangement? That's Bin Around The World for you.
ps. Dustbin tells us this black liner was heading for the bottom left corner of the net before Peter Recycle got his fingertips to it.
