*IS THIS A BIN IN MANZANILLO? LOOKS LIKE AN OIL DRUM, TO OUR BOY JOE.
Is this a bin in Manzanillo? Where bins sit on the beach all day.... DUH-DE-DUH-DER. OOH.

*To the tune of Amarillo by that Tony Whatisface fella.

Needless to say Rob/Binjamin is to thank for this one. Rob: think twice, it's another day for bins and you in paradise.

PS. Sorry for missing Monday. Joe (the driver) didn't get out of bed on time.

WE'VE HAD A DELUGE. IT'S GETTING TO THE POINT WHERE WE WISH THAT THE WEEK WAS ONLY MADE UP OF MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS. Alas, it ain't. And there's no point in doing the rounds more than twice a week, otherwise people'll start behaving like animals.

Speaking of animals. Or not. Here's Rob/Binjamin's latest. The boy's honing his eye for spotting the finest basuras in South America. He's doing a fine job. Should you see him whilst he's down there do give him a kiss from his ma and a cup of tea. Cheers.

"It's a shame this brightly coloured effort in Parque Gallineral, San Gil, Colombia, hasn't been kept a little cleaner," is what Rob filed on this multicoloured b-boy. Should you see this bin on your travels then DO THE RIGHT THING and sponge it down yeah?

J sent through this snap of a sturdy looking bin in Bahrain. Binimalism appears to be the order of the day there. Liking that yellow with the grey too.

J said the following about his spot: "A little blurry. That's from the heat. That is to say it was so hot I couldn't hold the camera still."

Thanks J. Next time we suggest protective gloves.

IF YOU WANT TO BE A BIN SPOTTER THEN YOU NEED A KEEN EYE. They crop up in the most unlikely places. If you take a peek on board the Sheila Ann on the Panama Canal you'll see they've got a selection of recycling bins... see them... zoom in. Job done.

Cheers Rob/Binjamin.

SORRY FOR THE MISSED ROUND LAST THURS. The mood of the bank holiday continued into the week. Nonetheless, now summer's officially over, refuse collection will be back to normal, Mondays and Thursdays at 9am.

Lots of binspiration coming up over the next few weeks, much of it from South America where our resident basura spotter Rob has been doing a sterling job. However, this week we're keeping it domestic. This line up was found in Bromsgrove. They love recycling up there. The outfits they wear to do it are a bit questionable though. Those flappy bits could easily get trapped in Terry's crusher.

ps. We really hope that re-opening banner is a brilliantly surreal joke taken too far.
