PART TWO OF GEORDIE BIN WEEK HERE ON BATW. Nice minimalist composition this one. Again, from Rebecca G-H.

Sleek visual contrast, nice shadow. 10/10.

2/3RDS OF A MEXICAN WAVE HERE. Well, we say Mexican but we mean Catalonian as this delightful snap was taken by J Gilla on the beach in Barcelona. According to the brains over at Google, bin in Spanish is cubo de la basura. Sounds like a dish we ordered when we were in Magaluf back in 2001. We've heard that Catalonian is being added to Google Translate in 2012.

WHAT A SPLENDID COMPOSITION FROM THE BLACK COUNTRY. This picture was taken by Mr Ben Wykes in Dudley, where the people 'toilk like dis' an' eat their chips with gravy. Whatever next? Terry's got an outside bet on chips and curry sauce... as if Tel!

THE LAST POST FROM STOCKHOLM

ps. We're running low on bins so if you want your local cans featured then send them our way:

TURNING JAPANESE, I REALLY HOPE SO.

Snapped from a train window in Japan where bins are a rarity in public places (and known as ビン). But there's some handsome looking silver recycling-y numbers next to that hulking Yakult machine. Nice.

Bin Brothers: These two were snapped in Bethnal Green, east London. Clearly the silver fella's a local favourite but the orange one has been lumbered with what appears to be a pane of heavyweight glass... jus' sayin'.
